About Me

Becky Meyer avatar

Becky Moynes Meyer, PT

I grew up on a farm in Prince Edward County, working in the fields and participating in a variety of sports. It was through some of my own injuries that I discovered my passion for the rehabilitation process, and made it my goal to help others in the way that my physiotherapists had helped me.

After graduating from Centennial Secondary School, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Laurentian University, including a study exchange to the University of Limerick in Ireland, and the University of Wyoming in the United States. Prior to attending Physiotherapy School, I completed a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wyoming where I worked as a Personal Trainer and gained valuable experience with regards to strength and conditioning. In 2017, I graduated from Western University with a Masters of Physiotherapy.

I am dedicated to helping others live a healthy active lifestyle. I enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities, with a special interest in athletes. I have been a member of the Canadian Barefoot Waterski Team since 2006, representing Canada at 7 World Championships, and currently hold the Canadian Women’s Barefoot Trick Record. On my off time, you can find me spending time outdoors, working on the farm, or enjoying some sort of sport on the water be it barefooting or hockey.
